About The First Tee of Massachusetts

The First Tee of Massachusetts was established in 2003 in hopes of bringing the game of golf and its inherent values to the Bay State's underprivileged and at-risk youth. The home of The First Tee of Massachusetts is MGA Links at Mamantapett, an 18-hole, par 3 facility located in Norton, Massachusetts. More than 400 youth from 25 different communities participate annually in a seven-week golf and life skills development program at MGA Links at Mamantapett.

MGA Links Receives National Honor

Since its opening in 2003, MGA Links at Mamantapett has served as the home of The First Tee of Massachusetts and ForeKids Golf Program, both nationally-renowned golf education programs. In recognition of the club's outstanding service to the game of golf, the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA) recently recognized MGA Links at Mamantapett with the 2008 Best of Norton Award.

MGA Links Facility Improvements

In future years, the MGA, with help from the USGA, Deutsche Bank Championship, Tiger Woods Foundation and The First Tee, plan on making several changes to the MGA Links at Mamantapett facility. Within the last two years the installation of Tour Turf on several teeing grounds, and on the practice putting green have allowed for clinics and lessons to be conducted without harm to the golf course.
