The MGA, with help from the USGA, Deutsche Bank Championship, Tiger Woods Foundation and The First Tee, made several changes to the MGA Links at Mamantapett facility.

The installation of Tour Turf on several teeing grounds, and on the practice putting green, have allowed for clinics and lessons to be conducted without harm to the golf course.  Shortly after the facility opened, several trees were removed and or pruned to create more air flow and sunlight which contributed to a more sustainable grass growing program.

Finally, bunker reshaping and renovation was successfully conducted in 2005.  The clubhouse was demolished and rebuilt in 2010, making way for a new Golf Education Center with indoor / outdoor teaching capabilities, pro-shop, library/classroom and office space.
